2. Open "My Computer", right-click your USB device and select "Properties".

4. Click the "Policies" tab and make sure the "Optimize for quick removal" radio button is selected.
5. Click the "OK" buttons to back out and then you should
simply be able to remove your USB device without being nagged by the
Windows safe removal admonition.
