Windows XP: Personalized Screen Saver

(Please click on Legal Stuff before using this Tip of The Week.)

Do you save all of your pictures in your "My Pictures" folder?

If so, you can use all the pictures you save in your "My Pictures" folder as your own personalized screen saver and it's very easy to set up.

1. Make sure you have some JPEG images in the "My Pictures" folder which is located in "My Documents".

2. Right-click on your desktop and select "Properties" to bring up the "Display Properties" dialog window.

3. Click on the "Screen Saver" tab and then change the "Screen Saver" drop-down text box to "My Pictures Slideshow".

(Click for full size)

4. Finally click the "Ok button to close the "Display Properties" dialog windows and you're all set.
