Want to shutdown your Windows XP computer with a single step? Have you counted how many mouse clicks it takes to shutdown your computer? Start, Shutdown, Click the down arrow, select Shutdown, and finally click the OK button. That's five mouse clicks!
You can do it with a single step. Here's how...
1. Right-click on your desktop and select "New -> Shortcut" This will launch a shortcut wizard.
2. Type the following text into the "Type the location of the item" text box:
SHUTDOWN.exe -s -t 01

3. Click the "Next" button and then type a name for the shortcut.

4. Clicking the "Finish" button will place a single-step shutdown shortcut onto your desktop so you can safely shutdown your computer in a hurry!
