tired of fighting with Internet Explorer and have decided to switch to
use the Firefox internet browser. How can I import my Internet Explorer
favorites into Firefox?
Microsoft Internet Explorer will allow you to
export your list of favorites into a file that can be used to
migrate into your Firefox internet browser. Here's how...
1. Please CLICK HERE to

this entire article before you actually start and if you DO NOT feel comfortable performing these steps, then STOP and DO NOT PROCEED any further.
2. Open your Internet Explorer on your Windows PC and click menu "File -> Import and Export...". That will launch the "Import/Export Wizard" then click "Next" to continue...
3. Make sure to highlight "Export Favorites" and then click the "Next" button...
4. Leave the "Favorites" folder highlighted as shown below and click the "Next" button...
5. Click the "Browse" button to select your Desktop, give the file a meaningful name such as "bookmark.htm" and then click the "Next" button...
6. Click the "Finish" button to complete the "Import/Export Wizard"...
7. You're almost done when you see the "Successfully exported favorites" message window shown below...
8. Now look for your new "bookmarks.htm" file and make sure it's located on your desktop.
9. Open your Firefox browser and click menu "Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks"...
10. Click on menu "File -> Import", to open the "Import Wizard".
11. Select the "From File" radio button and then click the "Next" button.
12. Click the "Desktop" icon located in the left column and then click to highlight the "bookmarks.htm" file that you previously saved to your desktop.
13. Click the "Open" button to import the bookmarks and you are done.
There! Now you have migrated all of your Internet Explorer favorites
into your Firefox browser.
