Internet
Explorer automatically resizes images to a smaller than actual size.
How can I stop that from happening or how can I view the image in full
size?
Microsoft Internet Explorer will automatically
resize images if they are too large to fit in the displayed window.
This behavior is designed by Microsoft and built into Internet Explorer
as a default action. However, there are two courses of action you
can
take to view the image at full size.
1. Please CLICK HERE to
read our disclaimer before getting started. Be sure to read through
this entire article before you actually start and if you DO NOT feel comfortable performing these steps, then STOP and DO NOT PROCEED any further.
2. The next time an image loads into an Internet
Explorer browser window that you want to view in its
original size, hover your mouse over the lower right-hand corner
of the resized image until you see the following resizing button
appear. Click that resizing button to override IE's default action
and you will now view it as a full sized image. Repeat this same
action to bring it back to a smaller resized image.
3. If you want to disable Internet Explorer's default image resizing option, open your Internet Explorer and click menu "Tools -> Internet Options..." and then click the "Advanced" tab...
4. Finally, remove the checkmark from the "Enable Automatic Image Resizing" checkbox and click the "OK" button.
There! Now you have two ways to control Internet Explorer's automatic image resizing feature.
