Our Peanut is a super compact computing system that measures just
7” x 7” x 3” inches for an exceptionally small
footprint that takes up less desk space than a notebook PC. Complete
with hard drive and CD drive, Peanut weighs in under 5 pounds
and with its convenient carry handle can be easily moved by anyone. It is Ideal for
small spaces and can be easily transported from home to the office or even taken on vacation. Peanut is pictured
at the right with a cell phone so you'll get an idea just how
small it really is (click for larger image).
Peanut has all the connectors you need for peripheral
attachment and expansion. The picture shown at left (click for larger
image) displays the rear panel with PS2 mouse port, PS2 keyboard
port, video port, 10/100 ethernet connector for DSL or broadband
networking, two USB ports, one LPT printer port, TV out
port, serial I/O port for an external modem, and rear jacks for
microphone, speakers, and line-in.
Each Peanut is personally assembled by me, not mass produced
on some assembly line where quality control checks can fall through the
cracks. I test each Peanut during every assembly and installation step
and I take great pride in my finished product. All of the Windows
critical and security update patches will have been applied before any
Peanut leaves my workbench so you're assured of a completely patched
system before
you connect to the internet.
Shown below is our current pricing for each Peanut, along with
some suggested optional peripherals and optional upgrades. I am
currently ramping up for initial production so each Peanut will be
considered a special order and can be customized according to your
requirements.
