No
one can ever completely eliminate spam because there are no spam
filters that are 100% effective. But there are several self-help
things you can do to help minimize spam or at least keep it from piling
up in your Inbox. These instructions will help and explain how you can manage your own spam mail filter settings in your Plesk Control Panel.
1. Please CLICK HERE to
read our disclaimer before getting started. Be sure to read through
this entire article before you actually start and if you DO NOT feel comfortable performing these steps, then STOP and DO NOT PROCEED any further.
2. Use the following link to "Plesk Control Panel Login" if you do not know how to access your account. Login as a "regular" user and then return to this article to continue with Step 3 below...
3. Use the following link to the "Managing Mail" chapter of the Plesk Domain Users Guide and then scroll down until to you get to the "Managing the spam mail filter settings" section where you will find detailed instructions...
You will also find detailed help instructions located in the "Help & Support" links of each Control Panel screen after you log into your account.
4. If
you don't want to delete email identified as spam, then you could use
the "Rules Wizard" in your Outlook or Outlook Express to create a
filter rule that looks for email that has been marked as spam
(*****SPAM*****) in the subject line and move it to your "Deleted
Items" folder. Consult your Outlook Help files for instructions
specific to your version of Outlook or Outlook Express and search on
the term "rules wizard".
