How to Create a Launcher in Ubuntu Linux
1. Right-click your desktop and select "Create Launcher".
2. If you are creating a custom launcher to a shell script that needs
to run in a Terminal, then change the "Type" to be "Application in
Terminal".
3. Fill in the "Name" field with a name that means something to you.
4. Click the "Browse" button to navigate to the "Command" you want it to launch.
5. Fill in the "Comment" field with a comment that means something to you.
6. Click "OK".
If you prefer, you can drag and drop the resulting desktop launcher onto your top desktop panel.
