You've
just installed a new SSL certificate to your domain account and it
doesn't work. Your customers are getting the "certificate has expired"
message and when you try to delete the old certificate you receive a message to this effect...
"Unable to remove certificates: the following certificates are assigned to the IP addresses:"
This happens if you have a previously installed certificate that
is already associated to your domain's fixed IP address.
1. Please CLICK HERE to
read our disclaimer before getting started. Be sure to read through
this entire article before you actually start and if you DO NOT feel comfortable performing these steps, then STOP and DO NOT PROCEED any further.
2. Contact your account manager and request that your new certificate be bound to your IP address from within the "IP Pool" control panel.
3. Your account manager will have to login to Plesk, enter the "IP Pool"
control panel, click your IP address, and select your new SSL
certificate from the drop-down list to bind it to your IP address and
then click the "OK" button to register the change for you.
4.
Optionally, you may authorize your account manager to delete the old certificate.
