"A
good backup plan should always include an off-site strategy.
You
can keep your critical files backed up to our remote
server on an automatically scheduled basis even if you're not logged
into your computer."
How much time do you
spend backing
up your critical files? Could you dedicate
that time to
other critical business operations?
Service
Plans We have service plans to fit your backup
requirements or budget.
Each
of these plans
allow you the flexibility to automatically perform full, incremental,
or differential
backups on a daily basis throughout your subscription period.
How
does it work?
1. We create a backup account for you on our remote server.
2. You install and configure our recommended vendor's backup software.
3. Your computer automatically connects and stores your
backup files on our remote server.
What
is the recommended
vendor's
backup software?
For home or small businesses, we recommend Comodo Backup which can be downloaded from their website at the following URL:
Can you download Comodo Backup for me and then
bring it with you to set up during an onsite appointment? Yes, so long as you live within our geographical coverage
area
in and around Kerrville, Texas. You must also register the software in your name and agree to the Terms of Service
or any other terms Comodo may set forth during installation and
registration. Fear not, we have tested this software and it does not
contain any spyware.
What
if I need help to configure the backup software?
There
is an
additional $58 per hour fee if you request an onsite appointment
(Kerrville only)
for us to setup your computer backup jobs. Most jobs take an
hour or less to setup depending on the complexity of your backup
requirements.
Can
I backup critical files from other networked computers in my office? Yes,
so long as you have a functioning network and have mapped network
drives and shares. If you do not know how to map a network
drive
or set up file sharing, then we'll be happy to perform that service (provided that you have a working network)
during an onsite appointment to setup your backup jobs.
