Web
Hosting
Tips
Do
you
have a domain website hosting account with
us? If so, you'll want to check this section for handy tips
to
help make your website standout from the crowd. Sometimes
we'll
give tips about working with your Plesk Control Panel.
How Many Hits Has Your Website Taken? You don't have to add a cheesy hit counter to see how many hits your website
is taking. Simply login to your Plesk Control Panel, click the
"Report" icon, and then click the "WebStats" icon. Click on
a month in the "Month" column of the "Summary by Monthly"
table and you'll see a tremendous breakdown of your monthly hits.
Some of the categories include bar and pie charts along with
origins and countries of origin. Very interesting data indeed!

Linspire
Linux Tips
Linspire
Linux is a great operating system that is
designed to be the easiest of all desktop linux distributions.
If
you haven't tried it for yourself yet, ask for a free demo CD the next
time we service your computer.
Creating Virtual Desktops You
can create up to 20 different desktops in Linspire Linux. This is
almost like having 20 different computers with different programs
running simultaneously on each desktop. This is easy to setup...
1. Right-click on a blank area your desktop and select "Configure Desktop". http://www.bictx.com/images/virtualdesktops.png2. Click and drag the slider bar to select the desired number of desktops. 3. Click "OK" and to complete the configuration of your virtual desktops. 4. Right-click an empty area of your Taskbar. 5. Click "Add -> Applet" and then select "Pager". Now you will also have an applet on your taskbar with which you can quickly change from one desktop to another.

Microsoft Windows
Tips Microsoft Windows is
still the operating system that most people are familiar with.
Many businesses have built their IT requirements around this
commercial operating system and so it remains the cornerstone of our
onsite support service. Restart Your Windows XP in Less Than 30 Seconds!
This
really works! Are you tired of waiting up to five minutes for your
Windows XP PC to start up every morning? If so, try this... 1. Right-click your desktop and select "Properties". 2. Click the "Screen Saver" tab. 3. Click the "Power" button in the "Monitor Power" section. 4. Checkmark the "Enable Hibernation" checkbox on the "Hibernate" tab. 5. Click the "Advanced" tab of the "Power Options Properties" dialog window. 6. Select "Hibernate" in "When I Press The Power Button on My Computer". 7. Click the "Ok" buttons to back out of both dialog boxes. Now
you can simply press the power button on your computer and Windows will
save your session settings in a special Hibernation file. Wait a
few seconds to make sure your hard drive stops spinning and then press
the power button again. You should notice a dramatic increase in
speed with which your Windows starts back up and restores any programs
you were previously working on. Software Download of The WeekPost-it Software Notes Lite... http://www.3m.com/market/office/postit/com_prod/psnotes/download_lite.html
